🌟 The Honeys 🌟 2023 Odyssey Award for Excellence in Audiobook Production for YA

We could not be more thrilled to announce that THE HONEYS has been awarded the 2023 Odyssey Award for Excellence in Audiobook Production, Young Adult

“Struggling to find their place at an elite summer camp after a family tragedy, gender fluid Mars discovers a gruesome revelation. Subtle yet immersive sound effects and a narration by Pete Cross that empathetically embodies the range of characters enhances this atmospheric novel.”

The Odyssey might be our favorite award here at Deyan Audio and it is a tremendous honor to even be considered. Congratulations to everyone involved!

Congratulations to the 2022 Audie Nominees!

Time sure flies when you’re having fun!

The Audio Publishers Association announced the finalists for the 2022 Audie Awards this week and we can’t believe it’s already been a year since we were last talking about these. Even more incredible, Deyan Audio is super proud to say we helped produce 8 of the nominees this year and we’d like to send a huge THANK YOU to all involved.

To the narrators, thank you for your tireless work bringing these stories to life and for working with our team through the inevitable ups and downs of life to make sure we create a stellar production.

To the publishers, thank you for the trust you place in us and for the honor of being involved with some truly incredible audiobooks.

There’s no denying that audiobook production is very much a team effort and we thank our excellent editors, QCers, directors, engineers, and project managers as well. Audio production can be full of complexities and potential setbacks, and the need to function with great attention to detail on tight timelines is constant. We truly appreciate the long hours put in across the board.

We produce audiobooks because we love them and we think they are an important form of entertainment and education in today’s world. We’d do it all day, every day regardless but nevertheless, it's nice when hard work is recognized. Thank you once more to all involved and we look forward to producing many more amazing stories in the coming months.

2021 Audie Nominations Announced!

We are very honored to have played a part in 11 of the nominated titles and thank the producers at Scholastic, Simon & Schuster, Harper, Dreamscape, Brilliance, Oasis, and Live Oak Media for entrusting us with these amazing stories.

Audiobooks help us all spend some time living in another person’s head and walking in their shoes. The talent and hard-work required by these narrators, to be your constant companion and trusted voice, both actor and interpreter, cannot be understated. A huge congratulations to everyone who was nominated.

We’re proud to highlight our contributions below and encourage you to check out the full list here.

We are so excited to be recognized by the APA once again. This year we may not be able to be with each other in person to celebrate the outstanding work of 2020, but it will not stop us for cheering just as loud from our living rooms!

We would like to give a shout out to our casting team: Philip Miller, Khai Dattoli, Kristina Miller-Weston, Abby Marks, Yetta Gottesman, Sergio Martinez and Mimi Chang.

Special thanks to our talent coordinators Lauren Irwin, Andrei Fossi, and Kurt Kanazawa. And to the rest of our pre-production team Jeff Guillot and Jamie Dupras!

We send our deepest appreciation to Michele Cobb, Janet Benson, and Joanna Laskas for all you do for the APA members. Thank you to the Audies committee for all your hard work.
