Now Legendary in the audiobook industry, Deyan Audio was founded in 1990 by Bob and Debra Deyan. The company works with the largest publishers and has handled all aspects of production including casting and directing for thousands of audiobooks. Deyan Audio has to its credit multiple Grammy, Audie, Earphone and Listen UP awards.
Bob deyan
Bob Deyan has produced over 10,000 audobooks. Bob has directed celebrity readers such as Richard Dreyfuss, Craig Fergason, Raven Simone, Maalcolm Jamal Werner, Kareem Abdul-Jabar, Alice Cooper, Dudley Moore, Juliet Mills, Ed Asner, Patrick McNee and recorded Milton Berle, Whoopi Goldberg and Joe Mantegna and many more.
Besides more than 25 years in the audio book business, Bob has had experience as a Television Director, Videographer, Photographer, Voice Over / Radio Talent and Operations Manager for a LosAngeles based radio station.
In early 2013, Bob Deyan was diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease).
Debra Deyan
Debra Deyan is a 30 year veteran producer of audiobooks and owner of Deyan Audio the world's largest independent producer of audiobooks, working for over 30 publishers. She has won numerous awards including 4 Grammys, 11 Grammy nominations, countless Audies, Odyssey, Carnegie and Earphone awards. She was awarded the Life Time Achievement award from the APA in 2013 for her efforts in helping pioneer the audiobook industry. She owns two Los Angeles recording studios with 9 recording booths. She also owns a video game/interactive toy venture and co-founded an institute which teaches audiobook narration and production.
